Z HATCH is the fifth ZULU timepiece drawn in the studio rather than specified from a supplier catalog: a meca-quartz chronograph on the VK64A caliber with a center chronograph seconds hand, a sixty-minute counter at nine, and a twenty-four-hour indicator at three. Forty millimeters of 316L stainless steel on a five-link bracelet, anti-reflective sapphire, BGW9 luminous, sealed to fifty meters, and a solid case-back engraved with the studio coordinates. The case is a cushion, its corners radiused the way a hatch corner is radiused so it cannot crack, with a tachymeter carried on the flange and read from the center hand at rest on sixty.
